Monaco, April 23, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 Chedid Capital announces today the acquisition of the remaining 20% of the Ascoma Group from the Husson family. Following the closing of this transaction, Chedid Capital will own 100% of the Ascoma Group, the leading independent brokerage operator in sub-Saharan Africa.<\/strong> <\/p>

In 2021, the holding company Chedid Capital acquired 80% of the Ascoma Group from the Husson family. Over the course of 70 years, the family-owned group has established itself as one of the leading networks of independent brokers in Africa. <\/p>

Thanks to the support and international expertise provided by Chedid Capital, the Ascoma Group has been able to consolidate its governance and improve its technical skills over the past three years; thus positioning itself for sustainable growth and strengthening its competitive position as well as its ability to meet the evolving needs of its clients.<\/p>

Today, Ascoma’s teams of specialists effectively cover all sectors, offering unparalleled expertise in managing risks for SMEs, large international corporations, institutions, and individuals in Africa.<\/p>

With over \u20ac300 million in premiums managed in 2023, Ascoma operates in high-growth markets characterized by strong demographic dynamics and considerable prospects in the insurance sector (particularly in healthcare).
